Re: the last two sentences:But why would we do that? Or, to go with your tilling metaphor -- surely you'd want to let the field go fallow for a while, to return nutrients to the soil? Where are the livestock pooping their fertile poop, so the corn might grow again? WHERE IS THE POOPING?
